Yoga is not a fitness routine. It's a mindfulness practice. The more slowly you move, the more sensory information you can digest. The smaller the movement, the more you can feel where it initiates from. Do a little more. Do a bit less. Turn the physical sensation volume up or down to meet your needs. Try not to identify with thoughts as good or bad; they are obstacles that keep you from your full potential. Offer yourself grace and come back into the moment. No guilt. No objective to collect postures. You know it is working when your self talk is more positive.
